( Florence, Kentucky ) - Emergency crews were called to a nasty crash in northern Kentucky late Tuesday morning that tangled up traffic for hours.
Just before noon, investigators say that a box truck headed south on I-75 near Turfway started to have mechanical issues. Police say the driver of the truck started to merge into the right lanes when it was rear-ended by an Owens Electric work truck. The driver of that work truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
That work truck driver has been identified as 50-year-old Callen Cheesman of Union, Kentucky.
