(Rabbit Hash, KY)--Saturday was a big day for this Northern Kentucky community. The Rabbit Hash General Store reopened. It is a newly-built structure, replacing the original store built in 1831.
The original store was destroyed by fire in February, 2016. The only parts of the building that were spared were the foundation and parts of three walls.
The community came together and rebuilt the store. That was the reason for a celebration Saturday which featured live music. The Scalded Hog Restaurant and Amber's Antiques also opened.
