( CINCINNATI, OH ) -- When fire crews were dispatched to reports of a house fire in the 3400 block of Wabash Ave, they were told that a person was stuck on the second floor. The house also had a suggestion of not entering due to hazards from hoarding.
The fire was in the rear two rooms of the first floor. The decision was made to enter the house to put out the flames and conduct a search of the second floor. Most of the fire was put out in five minutes.
Two victims were found and taken to UC Medical Center. They later died from their injuries. A firefighter also sustained a back strain during the rescues. The fire is still under investigation.
