Police say the man jumped in front of the intended victim around 7 a.m. Wednesday when the woman's husband showed up at LSI Industries on Alliance Road.
Officers are still searching for 38-year-old Darryl Brown. He was already wanted on charges related to an alleged attack on his wife less than a week ago.
