Forecasters Determine Tornado Hit Williamsburg

(Williamsburg, OH) UPDATE: It was a tornado that touched down Sunday afternoon in Clermont County. Crews from the National Weather Service have taken a look at the damage in Williamsburg Township and determined it was caused by an EF-1 tornado. 

It touched down just before 2:30 on Concord Meadow Lane and was on the ground for about a minute. Some homes suffered damage, but no one was hurt.

First responders said that rooftops were blown off, garages were damaged, and trailers were overturned.

National Weather Service investigators will meet Monday to determine whether or not to examine the area, to see if a tornado hit the community.
