(Norwood, OH)--Janet Garrett, missing since March 9 after a car accident, was found dead Friday morning.
Police said the 48-year-old Garrett took off after the accident at State Route 131 and Wolf Pen-Pleasant Hill Rd. in Clermont County.
Officers said that Garrett apparently tried to hide in a crate behind a business on State Route 131. She was found in that crate Friday morning by employees of the Clermont County Equipment Company.
Garrett appeared to be hiding from police. She was already accused of breaking and entering at the time of the accident.
Police said that foul play is not suspected. An autopsy will be performed.
