(Independence) The Kenton County man wanted on more than 1,300 counts of child pornography has been arrested in California.
Police say they picked up 40-year-old Joseph Eric Crail Friday morning. Now the work begins to extradite him back to Kentucky.
Investigators say they found more than 1,300 images and 38 videos of child pornography on two of Crail's cell phones. They were alerted by police in Oklahoma who say Crail sent more than 50 images of child porn to a man in Muskogee.
