( LINCOLN HEIGHTS, OH ) -- Reports say a car chase on I-75 started at 1:51 AM on March 9 when a Sheriff's Unit attempted to stop a grey 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe for a marked lanes violation.
The vehicle briefly stopped on the left shoulder and then continued northbound on I-75. The vehicle exited onto Union Centre Boulevard and continued onto Cincinnati Dayton Road. The pursuit ended in the 6600 block of Dimmick Road in West Chester.
The two occupants fled on foot from the vehicle and a canine track was conducted by the West Chester Police Department, resulting in the apprehension of the passenger of the vehicle. The driver remains at large.
The driver is described as a black male, 5'9", thin build, in his late teens to early twenties. The suspect was wearing a dark colored sweat shirt and reddish colored pants.
The passenger, located by the West Chester Canine, is identified as Trevon Adams, 20, of Cincinnati. He is being charged with Obstructing Official Business and Drug Possession. The incident remains under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
