(Cincinnati, OH)--A 73-year-old pedestrian was hit downtown late Friday morning, and later died at U.C. Medical Center.
Police said Barbara Vandenbroeck was hit at 8th and Sycamore Streets around 11 a.m. She was paying for parking at a lot when she was hit.
Officers said an eastbound driver changed his course at the intersection without signaling, and hit another vehicle making a left turn onto Sycamore St.
Vandenbroeck was hit by one of the cars.
Police said speed and impairment do not appear to be factors in the accident.
