( Cincinnati ) - Police were called to a car that was shot multiple times in Over-the-Rhine on Friday morning. That's at least the fifth instance of gunfire in the city over the last 24 hours.
A woman suffered minor injuries from debris and broken glass after someone shot the car in which she was sitting on Vine just south of Liberty. Police Lieutenant Stephen Saunders says there were reports of a person with a gunshot wound who showed up at UC Medical Center a short time later, but there's no word if that's connected.
That comes after a man and a woman were found dead hours apart in separate locations on Thursday: 24-year-old Casey Roby was found shot to death in a vehicle on Vine a little south of McMillan and 47-year-old Pamela Hacker was found shot in a building on Vine near Clinton Springs in North Avondale.
Thursday evening, a man on a bicycle was shot multiple times on McMillan near Ashland in East Walnut Hills. A few hours later, a man said he was shot by a masked gunman during what may have been a home invasion on Sparkle Dr in Roselawn.
Lt Saunders says investigators are asking for any information from the public.
