More Credit Card Skimmers Found in Butler County

(Butler County, OH)--Since November, 2015, inspectors have found 13 credit card skimmers placed inside Butler County gas pumps.

Two more skimmers were found Friday. They were the first skimmers found in 2017.

The skimmers were discovered in two separate pumps at the Shell station off of I-75 along East Ave.

Previously, inspectors for the Butler County Auditor found skimmers in December at pumps in Hamilton and Fairfield.

No one has been arrested.

Inspectors are hopeful the people who placed the skimmers were captured on surveillance video.

The skimmers record information from the cards, which can then be sold or clone the card.An update now..on the earlier accident where one person was killed in a multi vehicle crash in Pendleton County, Kentucky.
