( Brookville, Indiana ) - A man is dead after police say he refused officer commands to drop a gun.
Brookville Police and Franklin County Sheriff's deputies were called to a home on State Route 101 near Golden Road early Wednesday morning. Investigators say a relative of Donald Parker Jr reported that the 29-year-old was acting erratically. Responding officers say Parker had a gun that he refused to drop. He was shot by two police officers and died from his injuries at the hospital.
