Member of Rhoden Family Arrested on Drug Charges

( PEEBLES, OH ) -- In Adams County, two arrests were made in connection with an ongoing investigation in Pike County.

On the night of January 26, police arrested Josh Rhoden, 38, on a felony charge of drug trafficking and John McJunkin, 63, on a felony charge of possession of drugs.

Josh Rhoden is related to the 8 members of the Rhoden family found murdered in Pike County in 2016. Though the investigation into the homicides did help lead police to these arrests, the cases were unrelated.

Search warrants were served on both suspects' homes on Grassy Fork Road, where more than $8,000 in cash was seized, along with an estimated $7,700 in prescription pills, 9 guns, and a small amount of marijuana.
