Teen Facing Arson Charges After Church Fire

(Middletown, Oh.)--A teen is facing charges after a fire broke out in a church in Middletown over the weekend.

Investigators say the blaze started early Sunday morning in the educational wing at the Tytus Avenue Church of God. Fire crews report that damage estimates run in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. 

Police say, they have now charged a 16-year-old boy with breaking and entering and arson. 

Church leaders say services are temporarily being moved to the Poasttown First Church of God, their five-day-a-week day care is also being relocated.
