UPDATE: A statement from the Hamilton County Sheriff on Tuesday afternoon has named the victim of Monday night's shooting in the parking lot of a Symmes Twp hotel parking lot.
Investigators say 24-year-old Mahmuud Abdur-Rahman was found shot outside the Red Roof Inn on Governors Hill Dr. His last known address was in Avondale.

Hamilton County Sheriff's deputies report a guest at the Red Roof Inn in Symmes Township reported an unconscious man in the hotel parking lot Monday night. When they arrived, officers found a deceased man outside the hotel described as black, in his early 20's with a thin build, shoulder-length black hair, brown eyes and a thin beard. Investigators believe the man's death to be a drug-related murder.
