( Georgetown, Ohio ) - No word on what to expect, but some kind of update is coming in the investigation into the murder of a young woman in 2013.
It's been more than three years since Brittany Stykes, a 22-year-old pregnant mother, was found shot to death in a Jeep just outside of Georgetown on OH-68. Her 14-month-old daughter was in the vehicle with her and was shot as well. She survived and has since undergone multiple brain surgeries.
Stykes was driving her husband, Shane's, vehicle at the time, but investigators have never named him as a suspect.
We could learn more information at a news conference on Tuesday morning. Recently sworn-in Brown County Sheriff Gordon Ellis will speak alongside the prosecutor and state investigators.
