( Harrison, Ohio ) - JTM Food Group has announced an expansion of its headquarters.
A statement from the company says a groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for 11am on Saturday, January 7. Archbishop Dennis Schnurr will be on hand to bless the site and the staff. "It's just awesome to have the Archbishop take the time out to bless the property, bless the expansion, and bless us," says JTM President and CEO Tony Maas.
He says they're adding a pair of new facilities: a new distribution center that can handle 19,000 pallets, and a new manufacturing building that will essentially double the output of JTM's "kettle" cooked products like chili, burrito filling, and mac & cheese.
He expects the distribution center to be open in July, 2017, and the manufacturing facility ready the following September. Maas says it will also mean hiring for new positions.
