I feel like I should get a Big Boy, as an ode to Frisch's, before it's too late.

It’s ok to enjoy the enjoyable.

We are really going to miss Blue Bloods. What a 14 year run on CBS. I will admit to disappointment with the final episode. I thought it should have focused more on family, catching up and wrapping up. Seemed odd to have such a dramatic storyline not be as much family driven.

Clutch Christmas gift from Casey & Peyton: The Battery Daddy. Google it. It's a mini suitcase like organizer for all the batteries in the house. And, it offers a battery tester! No more chaos, in our search for a battery!

I miss Lifesavers. My mom would always put the multi-pack box in my stocking at Christmas. I'd press them out of the pack with my thumb, one by one.

We really enjoyed the Blackberry Prairie Wheat beer by Moeller Brew Barn

I caught part of Silkwood (1983) when Kelly and Peyton were watching it this week. What a spectacular cast. One character after another I said, "Hey, that's..........."

Things that people sure like to tell others that they don't like: Soccer, NBA and WNBA.

Anyone else choose the crackling fireplace scene for their TV Christmas morning?

We are headed to Northside Tavern for music this weekend: The Abandoned Malls of America Holiday Show with Moonbeau, Bear The Moon and Knavery.

We tried St. Francis Apizza in Hyde Park. It's a take out only place. Golden Gelato in Covington carries their frozen version. Pretty good.

I'm going to condense my Tri-State Morning Tip-Off into only a game summary post and drop the game preview portion.

We watched Carry-On (Netflix) with Jason Bateman and Taron Egerton (Black Bird/Apple TV). If you don't overthink the plot liberties taken, it's worth the watch.

Excited that Longnecks has already reupped to be the host of The Roundtable Show again next season! Great place. Great staff.

Call me a Germaphobe, but I wipe down everything in the studio that I'm going to touch before hosting Sports Talk.

The biggest problem with the expanding landscape of sports media is that in order to be heard/seen/standout, many feel the need to just say outrageous things.

I think I could survive on the batches of Chex Mix that Kelly makes in the giant foil turkey roaster pan.

No matter how many times I watch Christmas Vacation, I still laugh out loud.

David Bell is gone. It's going to be a long baseball season if fans tie everything that happens in 2025 back to him in some way. You are happy with the move. I certainly accept and understand the move. Move. On.

Why do fans care that college athletes make money off their name, imagine and likeness? And why do those fans demand that scholarship athletes pay for their tuition? What's it to you? Why the need to hold down or punish?

Don't worry about things you don't care about
