Debbie Hayes, President and CEO of The Christ Hospital Health Network

Deborah (Debbie) Hayes, RN, MS, MSN, MBI, MBA, NEA-BC, has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Christ Hospital Health Network, an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 15 counties across Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky with nearly 7000 employees and 1200 providers since October of 2020. She has more than 30 years of progressive management and leadership roles, is board certified as a nursing executive and is a tireless advocate for advancing safety, quality, and affordability in healthcare. Under her leadership the hospital was one of the first in the country to implement a fully electronic EMR in 2010, achieved Magnet designation in 2010, 2015 and 2020 and continues to be recognized by US News and World Report, Newsweek and Healthgrades as one of the top health systems in America. In addition, the health network has been recognized by Press Ganey with the Guardian and Pinnacle of Excellence Awards for exceptional patient and family experiences and by Forbes as a 2023 Great Place to Work. After graduating from The Christ Hospital School of Nursing in 1989, Debbie started her career as a critical care nurse at TCHHN where over the past 35 years has held a number of progressive leadership roles as a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist, Director of Critical Care, Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Information Officer, Chief Hospital Officer, and Chief Operating Officer. Debbie is an active community leader, having served or currently serving on a number of boards and advisory committees including Mount Notre Dame High School, United Way, Artswave, REDI, Cincinnati Regional Chamber of Commerce, American Heart Association, American Hospital Association, Ohio Hospital Association, LifeCenter, Matthew 25 and Trinity Health. She also served on Xavier University’s Nursing Advisory Board and Northern Kentucky University’s Nursing Advisory Board. She has held adjunct faculty positions at several local universities contributing to the professional development of future healthcare professionals.
