Pirates rookie phenom Paul Skenes continued his dominance with five shutout innings to lower his ERA to 1.99.
The Reds struck out 13 times were shutout for the 14th time this season. Jonathan India picked two of the Reds grand total of three hits on the day.
Hunter Greene pitched well in his return from the IL, firing three innings and allowing a run.
The Reds are now 76-81 with five games remaining. It was the final game at GABP this season.
