Reds sweep Astros, Lowder records first MLB win

Ty France clocked a 7th inning homer to crack a scoreless tie.

Rhett Lowder took a shutout one out into the 7th inning.

That's a series sweep of the 1st place Astros and nine straight wins vs Houston.

The Reds are now 51-19 over their last 70 games vs Houston. Overall, that's four straight wins for the Reds (68-73).

France: HR. 9 for 11 in the series.

Elly and France each took away hits with spectacular plays in the 1st inning. Elly did it again in the 6th, ranging into the outfield grass to make a play.
His arm completed a weakly hit DP ball to end the 7th.

Reds are now 16-6 vs Yankees (3-0), Astros (3-0), Braves (2-0), Phils (4-3), Dodgers (4-3). 52-67 vs everyone else.
