TJ Friedl ripped a three-run 2nd inning homer and the Reds never looked back in taking the series from the Cubs. They snapped a string of eight straight rubber game losses, longest since 1982. 

Nick Lodolo was the beneficiary of the Reds second straight four run 2nd inning. He rolled to the 6th before Cubs started squaring him up and scored twice.
