How sweep it freakin’ is! What a weekend.
The Reds swept the Dodgers in a three game series at GABP for the first time since September of 2013. Over 116,000 fans were on hand for the series.
Rain halted the game for one hour and nine minutes in the top of the 6th.
The Reds capture the season series vs the Dodgers (4-3) and Phillies (4-3).....the two teams with the best records in the NL.
Scoreless to the 3rd, the Reds struck for four runs on three straight 2 out hits (Fraley-India-Martini).
LA starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto baffled the Reds with 3 Ks in the 1st. But they forced him to throw 30+ pitches in the four run 3rd.
