Spirit Airlines CEO Ted Christie spoke frankly about the airline industry, comparing it to a rigged game and stating that U.S. consumers are "the long-term losers."
"Currently, almost all the profits of the entire U.S. airline industry are concentrated in just two companies, leaving smaller non-legacy carriers to struggle to regain profitability in what increasingly appears to be a rigged game," Christie stated during an earnings call with analysts.
