I'm discovering as I get older that my eyebrows grow in every which direction. I wake up looking like Doc Brown in Back to the Future.

My childhood version of a 'juiced' ball was opening up a fresh can of tennis balls to use in our baseball games in the street. Ah, that sound.

Really enjoyed Crown Watts at Knotty Pine Rock Club and Tiki Bar last Saturday. Anyone that takes a crack of Eminence Front and In The Air Tonight is serious. Dudes can play. Dudes can sing.

I get the Amarius Mims pick. I get the criticism of the Amarius Mims pick. Both can be true.

Kelly has a closet and dresser full of clothes and shoes that I swear I have never seen her wear. I've known her for nearly 30 years.

Elly has an Eric Davis 'smooth' factor that makes things look so easy that you don't fully appreciate how hard it was to do what he actually did.

When my dad was in town last week, we all enjoyed dinner at Jeff Ruby's on Ft. Square. The meticulous attention to detail, presentation, and execution is perfection. They have an uncanny ability to always be a step ahead of your thoughts and needs.

I think it would be really cool for Cincinnati get host the NFL Draft. I would have less than zero interest in standing in that mass of humanity.

I find it odd that so many Reds players have dealt with illness this season and last season. I just don't hear stories of other teams dealing with illness to that extent.

What do we think about Skechers? Peyton has vetoed my thought of wearing them.

Why do fans who didn't attend a game, care about how many did attend the game?

Song I cranked up in my car this week: My Sharona, The Knack! Impossible to not sing out loud "muh muh muh my Sharona"

Remember the sound of the AOL sign in/dial up ? Remember deciding whether to stay on line or disconnect to take a call?

Advice: Stop worrying about the Reds being able to keep Elly. For goodness sake. He can't even be a free agent until after 2029. Just enjoy.

I'd guess most people, including myself, base their thoughts about draft picks on what we've read and heard. What the heck do I know about OL play?

Remember the excitement of eating a Swanson TV dinner on a TV tray in the family room so you could watch The Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday night?

I saw that Dusty Baker has won the Lifetime Achievement Award presented by Baseball Digest. I subscribed to Baseball Digest for years!

Remember when you discovered your VCR tape ran out of space before the show you were recording ended?

It seems like a stretch to go back 44 years and use the greatest OL of all-time (Anthony Munoz) as your comparison to Amarius Mims as a guy that worked out who didn't have a lot of college playing experience.

Kelly made my ring tone Jelly Roll's 'Save Me'

If you keep asking where all the critics/'haters" went, rather than posting your appreciation/enjoyment of something, you are offering those people oxygen. They will breathe.

I tend to think the less a person knows about baseball the more they complain about the lineup. It's fruit they can reach.

When channel surfing, I enjoy stopping on the 'I Want My 80's. I saw 'Take On Me' by A-ha. What a video!

Kelly countered my "I can't believe you haven't seen The Diner" with..... "What, you haven't seen 50 First Dates!?"........that's not the same.

I'm thinking that installing field turf would be much better than the pain of mowing my yard.

I still have a lone sock on top of my dresser waiting to be reunited. It's been over a month.

Did you ever hide a movie you wanted at Blockbuster behind another movie that nobody would rent, so you could get it the next time?

Remember, you can use Twitter as your timeline for sports information you are seeking....right on your phone. You decide who you follow. You don't have to tweet. You certainly don't have to read the comments. You can make it what you want it to be.

Don't worry about things you don't care about
