Reds chase Red Sox behind Anderson for 5-1 win

The Reds snapped an eight game losing streak to the Red Sox at GABP. They move to 59-90 with 13 games remaining.

Snapped: Kyle Farmer's two-run single, a jam shot at 52.7 mph off the bat, snapping his 0 for 18 streak.

Plunked, again: Anderson hit Tommy Pham with a 1st inning pitch. The Reds become the first pitching staff in MLB history to hit 100 batters in a season.

Long ball: Donovan Solano, who had three hits last night, jacked his 4th HR of the year to extend the Reds lead to 5-1 in the 8th. It left the bat at 104 mph and traveled 404 feet.

Wild thing: Boston starter Connor Seabold threw four wild pitches.

Taking advantage: Stuart Fairchild had his third consecutive two hit night. Since August 24: He's 15 for 33 with 3 2B, 4 RBI in 17 games.

Struggle bus: Aristides Aquino is now 0-19.

Man of the people: Joey Votto walked around the stands in a Barry Larkin jersey throughout the game and took selfies with fans.
