Braves 9 Reds 1

Mike Minor made his best start of the season for the Reds, tossing six innings of two run baseball. Unfortunately, the bullpen took care of torching the rest of night as Joel Kuhnel (3), Luis Cessa (3) and Jeff Hoffman (1) combined to allow 7 runs in three innings of work as the Braves battered the Reds 9-1 Friday night. A decidedly pro-Braves crowd of 28,606 went home happy. It was the second largest crowd of the season, largest since Opening Day.

That's nine straight loses at GABP, their longest streak since 2001.

The Reds are now 26-50. On pace for 55-107.

Mike Minor: 6 IN, 6 H, 2 R, 0 BB, 3 K, HR. 94 pitches/54 strikes.

Bullpen:

Joel Kuhnel (7.16) took over in the 7th and promptly served up a three-run homer to Dansby Swanson. Last 11 appearances: 12 IN, 16 H, 16 R, 3 HR.

Luis Cessa: 1.0, 2 H, 3 R, 2 BB. He threw 6 strikes out of his 20 pitches (6.67)

Jeff Hoffman: 1.0, R

Offense: Tommy Pham back-to-back three hit nights, RBI..
