This Sexually Transmitted Parasite Can Make You Sexier, Say Scientists

Sneaky little parasite... Scientists are studying the effects of Toxoplasma gondii, the parasite that causes the disease toxoplasmosis. It turns out the parasite makes you more attractive in an effort to spread itself. You see the parasite spreads through exposure to infected cat feces, as well as through contaminated food or sex with an infected person. Yep... you're not spreading Toxoplasma gondii if you're not attractive enough to get laid so the parasite helps the process along. Scientists think the parasites boost health in the host and mess with the endocrine system to create changes in facial symmetry, allowing the host to be "perceived" as more attractive. It's just a hypothesis right now, but the photos speak for themselves, check them out here.
