21-Year-Old Desean Brown had previously been accused of killing his girlfriend, 29-year-old Nyteisha Lattimore. Police found her body with stab wounds in a bag near the Purple People Bridge on December 12, but investigators believe she had been dead for days before that. Her 3-year-old son's stroller was found nearby in the Ohio River. Little Nylo Lattimore has never been found, but now Brown is accused of killing him as well.
A Hamilton County grand jury returned that indictment Wednesday, also charging Brown with gross abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence. He could be sentenced to death if convicted.
Deters says a Brown stowed Lattimore's body in a bag he ordered online and took an Uber to the area of the river.
The body of Nylo Lattimore has never been recovered, but Deters says some of the child's blood was found on a blanket recovered with Nyteisha's body.
