Will Cincinnati Give Amnesty to Demonstrators?

It was the biggest crowd yet in ten days of demonstrations on the streets of Cincinnati, over four thousand people packing fountain square and marching to the Justice Center for a rally on Sunday. There were no arrests reported during the demonstration which stayed peaceful. Cincinnati's curfew remained in effect overnight but police say there were no issues and a motion is being considered at city hall this week to drop the charges against the 500 people who were arrested for breaking curfew last week. The charge carries a potential punishment of 30 days in jail and a $250 fine.

We should find out today if the Mayor will extend the curfew any further. John Cranley has a meeting scheduled with a group of protesters to discuss the issues they have been raising during demonstrations. He didn't want to deal with the protesters when he and his family were out to dinner over the weekend.
