For the first time locally, one of the health experts briefing us on COVID 19 did so wearing a mask. Cincinnati Health Department Director Melba Moore appearing before Councils law and public safety committee with her mouth covered. She wants everyone who goes out in the city to do the same.
Dr. Moore says the number of new cases reported each day appear to have plateaued but she adds that does not mean this is over. Moore says letting our guard down now would just produce a spike in cases that we have been able to avoid so far. During the meeting, Moore praised Cincinnati's Mayor and Ohio's Governor for the steadfast leadership they have provided throughout this crisis.
