(700 WLW)- UPDATE: The pilot has been identified as Elio Abiakel of Mason. He was flying from Oklahoma to Clermont County when his plane went down.
A small plane crashed late Wednesday Night in Harlan Township. The plane went down at around 1130 near Morrow and Pleasant Plain killing the pilot. Rescue crews are having a hard time reaching the wreckage. OSP helicopter was unable to fly in that area. At one point crews were asking for some help from a Xenia Fire Department Drone. The pilot of the plane was the only person on board.
