(700 WLW)- A Reading man is dead after he became trapped under a collapsed garage Thursday afternoon. Police and fire crews were sent to the 1300 block of Third just after 4PM. The mans daughter telling police someone had hit the building recently and the man was doing some work to remodel it. The Reading Fire Department was able to pull the man out of the rubble but police confirming the 71 year old man later died from his injuries. The mans name has not been released. Reading police continue the investigation.
