BREAKING NEWS: The Campbell County crash that closed the AA highway Saturday morning is a fatal, and a parent on scene of that crash confirmed to 9 News that the bus was carrying Covington Catholic students heading to Northern Kentucky from the March for Life Rally in DC held on Friday.
Campbell County dispatchers had no more information involving that charter bus, telling us the investigators remained on scene.
We understand the driver of a vehicle that crashed into the bus on the AA highway near California Crossing has died.
WCPO is on scene and says a student and a chaperone on the bus sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.
Another vehicle was involved and there's no word yet on their injuries. Earlier this morning, one report indicated the driver MAY have been going the wrong way on the AA.
