( Cincinnati ) - Cincinnati Public Schools is opening its charter school lottery for high school students.
Round One of the lottery opens starting at 8:30am on Tuesday, January 7th. All applications submitted during Round One, which runs through February 21st, will have equal chance of getting into first-choice high schools. Subsequent rounds held later this spring (Round Two is 3/10-4/3 and Round Three is 4/28-5/8) are for applications not filed during Round One, though that's when some high schools fill up.
The lottery is open to CPS students currently in grades 6, 7, or 8.
