This is Annabelle....she recently turned 6 years old. She LOVES rainbows, unicorns and being a super GIRLIE girl!!! She was also recently diagnosed with DIPG.
DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) is a brain tumor found in the pons, a part of the brain stem that controls essential bodily functions and almost exclusively affects children between the ages of 5 & 10. There is no cure or effective treatment plan for DIPG. Annabelle is expected to be with us for 9-15 months. In an effort to extend her time with her family she will undergo a 6 week radiation treatment that is standard for DIPG patients.
