(700 WLW)- The Ohio State Highway Patrol is continue the investigation of a two vehicle injury crash that occurred on SR 125 at Britton Boulevard in Union Township/Clermont County. The accident happening Wednesday night at around 8:25. The preliminary investigation revealing, 54 year old Mark Helbling of Cincinnati was operating a 2005 Pontiac Vibe westbound on SR 125. 26 year old, Evert Byus Jr. of New Richmond, was operating a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle eastbound on SR 125. Mr. Helbling failed to yield while making a left turn onto Britton Blvd and was struck by Mr. Byus Jr. Mark A. Mr. Helbling was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and not injured. Mr. Byus was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and sustained life threatening injuries. Mr. Byus Jr. was transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital by Union Township EMS.
