( Dayton, Ohio ) - An update on Tuesday afternoon from investigators going over the scene of Sunday's mass shooting in the Oregon District and the life of the gunman.
FBI Special Agent in Charge of the Cincinnati Office, Todd Wickerham, says 24-year-old Connor Betts was obsesses with violence. "We have uncovered evidence... that the shooter was exploring violent ideologies," Wickerham said. He refused to be any more specific than that, but he said investigators have not uncovered any evidence to indicated that racial animus was a motivating factor. Betts killed nine and injured more than two dozen more in a shooting spree that lasted less than a minute.
