( Hamilton Township, OH ) - Police in Hamilton Township say a 71 year-old man was killed Thursday in a lawn mower accident.
A preliminary investigation indicates that Thomas McAlpin was on his mower when it rolled, landing on top of him. It happened around 9:45pm in the back yard of his home in the 800 block of E. Hatt-Swank Road.
Police say McAlpin was operating a commercial grade zero-turn mower.
The investigation into exactly what happened is still on going. The Warren County Coroner is also investigating an exact cause of death.
