( Queensgate ) - Emergency crews were called to an area near the intersection of Linn and Gest for a crash involving a Hamilton County Sheriff's deputy.
A statement from Cincinnati Police says Deputy Anthony Eduardo was driving north on Linn when he was struck by a car driven by 18-year-old Dieumerci Dukuzumuremyi that was turning north onto Linn. Deputy Eduardo's vehicle spun and hit the curb, eventually landing on its right side. The car stopped up against a fence near Linn and W 5th St.
Deputy Eduardo, three men in his vehicle, and Dukuzumuremyi were all taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Investigators say impairment was not a factor, but it's unknown if speed played a role. Dukuzumuremyi was cited for failure to yield and more.
The traffic unit is investigating.
