(700 WLW)- An investigation continues after one person died late Monday night after a fire in the 4700 block of Peabody Avenue in Madisonville. Crews were called at around 1030. Once on seen firefighters were informed that an occupant of the home was not breathing. Responding fire crews put out the fire rather quickly and beginning emergency care of the initial patient. Minutes later firefighters were informed of a second victim having problems breathing. The first patient later died at the scene. The second one was transported to Children's Hospital. The cause of the fire is under investigation
