( Union, Kentucky ) - Boone County Sheriff's deputies and emergency medical personnel were called for a child stabbed on Tuesday evening.
It happened around 7:30 on Richmond Road just south of US 42. The sheriff says the male juvenile victim was stabbed in the abdomen by someone he says he knows. Detectives were sent to interview that suspect, but according a statement from the sheriff, the suspect was not immediately arrested.
The victim was flown to UC Medical Center with serious, possibly life-threatening, injuries.
