The highway reopened around 3:30 AM and traffic was able to move through the area. There's still no word on the identity of the victim or details surrounding the crash.
*ORIGINAL STORY*
Part of Northbound I-71/I-75 is shut down in Boone County on Saturday, October 6. A wreck between a tractor trailer and a pickup truck took place just before 12:30 AM around mile marker 180, in the area of US-42.
There is reported to be one fatality in the crash, and all lanes are shutdown on the interstate's northbound side. We will bring you updates as they become available.
