( CINCINNATI, OH ) -- The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is saying that a 3-year-old is dead after accidentally shooting herself at a home in Mt. Healthy.
On Friday, October 5, at about 4:33 PM, police were called to a home at 7858 Clovernook Ave for a report of a child shot. When police and EMS arrived on the scene, they found the young girl dead.
The initial investigation indicates that the 3-year-old accidentally shot herself and the single bullet wound took her life instantly. The firearm that was used is legally owned by someone who lives at the home. Along with the now-deceased 3-year-old, there are reportedly 5 children under the age of 10 living in the home with the mother and father. The incident is still under investigation.
