( Hamilton, Ohio ) - Police have released dashcam video showing a chase that ended with a motorcyclist dead after a crash.
On Tuesday, police say an officer patrolling near Williams Ave and River Rd tried to pull over several bikers who were allegedly violating traffic laws. They were suspected to be members of a known outlaw club due to an insignia they displayed. Police say three of the motorcyclists fled the traffic stop, and the officer chose not to pursue them, but radioed for help (traffic stop video below).
One of the officers responding to the pursuit says he saw the suspects pass him on Monument at a high rate of speed, and one of them crashed into an over an embankment. Despite life-saving efforts by both police and EMTs, that person died from their injuries.
Among the remaining two bikers, one stayed at the scene and the other was arrested after an alleged foot chase. Those two men were taken into custody. One is described as being from Harrison, Ohio, and the other from Versailles, Indiana. No word yet on what, if any, charges will be filed.
