( Campbell County ) - Guilty of murder. Again. That was the verdict on Tuesday evening for Shayna Hubers.
It took that jury about five hours to convict the young woman in the 2012 shooting death of her boyfriend, Ryan Poston. Her defense attorneys argued that Hubers shot Poston six times in self defense, though video of Hubers in a police interrogation room showed her dancing and saying "I did it" to herself when no one was around. Prosecutors said Hubers killed Poston because he was breaking up with her.
Hubers was convicted in 2015, but it was later discovered that a juror in that trial was a convicted felon, so the verdict was thrown out and Hubers was granted this new trial.
Sentencing is set to begin on Wednesday.
