( Union Twp, Clinton County ) - Ohio State troopers were called to a crash involving a teen on Tuesday evening.
Investigators say an 18-year-old was driving a pickup truck southeast on SR 73 near Antioch Rd just before 6:30pm when he fell asleep behind the wheel. State troopers say the pickup went left of center and struck another pickup truck. A young woman passenger in that other pickup suffered minor injuries, but the teen who dozed off was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
There had been a crash in that area earlier Tuesday afternoon, but there's no indication that there's any connection between the two.
No word yet if any charges will be filed.
