(Spring Grove Village) – Unattended cooking is what fire investigators say caused the fire that killed a man and a child on June 1.
Fire investigators released the cause of the fire today. They say the fire spread from the kitchen and into the hallway. From there, it spread to another floor of the building.
Cincinnati’s fire chief says he expresses his condolences to the family and reminds people to never leave food unattended, to make sure doors are closed to contain a fire and to have properly working smoke alarms.
