( Blue Ash ) - Local charity Matthew 25: Ministries continues to grow this year and announced they will expand their Blue Ash facility in a release on Tuesday.
A 30,000-square-foot addition will be added to the Matthew 25 warehouse, which will allow them to hold more than 3,000 more pallets of products. They will also add more parking and dock doors to the facility.
These additions will help the non-profit process more donations, work with more volunteers and ship more aid to people across the world who need it. Organizers are expected to break ground on Friday April 29.
Matthew 25: Ministries is a humanitarian and disaster relief organization that sent more than 16 million pounds of food across the world last year to those in need. In 2017 they helped people in 34 countries, with 34 percent of the distributions staying in the United States.
Started in 1991, Matthew 25 accepts all monetary donations for disaster and humanitarian relief and welcomes volunteers six-days-per-week at their Blue Ash facility.
