CEO Spotlight Featuring Dino Lucarelli of Capital Tactics Inc.

Dino Lucarelli, CPA, is an industry veteran in the field of M&A, capital raising, business valuation, and financial management and reporting. In a career spanning nearly 40 years, Lucarelli worked his way into financial management positions in companies such as Kao Brands, Sun Chemical, and Federated Department Stores. He also performed CFO roles at two publicly held companies: Pomeroy Computer Resources and subsequently, Cintech Solutions.                                                       

Additionally, he spent 6 years in consulting roles with Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young, doing large corporate restructures and profitability enhancement projects. 

In 2004 Lucarelli founded and operated Lucarelli Tactical Group, a transaction advisory firm focused on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, business valuation, and capital raising. In 2019 the firm merged with Barnes Dennig CPA firm, and Lucarelli ran the practice inside Barnes Dennig until spinning out in June 2021, forming Capital Tactics Inc., which has launched with a significant client base of projects currently in process, spanning the various service lines that the company offers. Additionally, a deeply experienced team of professionals has been retained to provide the broad array of services the company offers. Lucarelli and his team have successfully closed numerous acquisitions and company sales across a diverse spectrum of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, transportation, construction, and professional services.  Now, armed with a strong backlog, and significant staff experience, Capital Tactics is poised to provide high-caliber guidance and consultative services to the Cincinnati Metro market.

In additional to the financial career that Lucarelli has carved out, he has taught MBA classes at Xavier University in Business Valuation and Mergers & Acquisitions, from 2000 through present. He also holds an adjunct faculty role at Northern Kentucky University’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, on whose board he sits. He also has held positions of Chair and Treasurer with the United Coalition of Animals (UCAN) an animal welfare organization serving the Cincinnati market.

Lucarelli is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a lifelong resident in the Cincinnati Metro Market, where he resides with his wife and adult children.
